EntrepreneurSHIP invited The Unstoppable Family as Ambassador Speakers on their upcoming event on July 7th-11th.

Thanks To Jules Schroeder!

This became possible because of our good friend Jules Schroeder.

She is the Founder of Unconventional Life. She aims to bring together a community of like-minded entrepreneurs, creatives, and thought-leaders from over 75 different countries who are redefining success on their own terms.

So how did we meet this beautiful person, and how amazing things happen after that?

Basically, Jules needed an outfit for her Gold party at the Unconventional Life event that was being hosted here in Bali.

While on the hunt for the perfect dress, a mutual friend went to Instagram and showed Jules the HS Styles page. Within minutes, we were connected on Facebook and the rest is history!

And one of Hanalei’s most memorable experiences of 2018, was speaking and hosting her first runway show at Jules Schroeder’s Unconventional Life Event which was a huge success.

PR

Application for PR & Media

PR & MEDIA

One way of making the best use of
your resources and generating
new business is by doing great PR.

“We Help The Best Kept Secrets Become The World’s Best Known Experts”

“Next to doing the right thing, the most important thing is to let people know you are doing the right thing.” – John D. Rockefeller

A great concept is just the first step. Good PR pros know how to share the positive actions their organizations take, garnering goodwill and headlines.

Have you ever seen someone post an article they have been featured in and think “OMG! They are incredible, I would love to tell my story or be featured in a publication like Entrepreneur, Fobres, or Inc. Magazine.” But it seems out of reach for most, but not completely out of questions for all.

Some of us tend to think that PR is only for large, multinational brands that have huge marketing budgets. It would make sense, since doing PR seems like a full-time job that requires the type of resources that SMBs just don’t have.

Importance Of Having PR

One way of making the best use of your resources and generating new business is by doing great PR. According to the Public Relations Society of America, “Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.” That’s a pretty broad and somewhat complex definition.
In simpler terms, PR is essentially about telling great stories, earning people’s attention and trust and gaining publicity as a result of that.

If you have a story to tell or your company is doing something amazing, you’ve written a book or have a powerhouse podcast that the world needs to know about, we can act on your behalf and share your story.

Sharing an article, stage or platform with other creative speakers, coaches, podcast hosts, bloggers or experts creates instant credibility. Imagine if you are in an ENTREPRENEUR Magazine article next to Lewis Howes, Gary Vaynerchuck or Grant Cardone giving your advice along theirs?

Who would you trust?

Unlike traditional media, online media doesn’t have a shelf life. News articles remain visible on search engines indefinitely. Hence, any PR content you create can gain more value as it lives on.

It’s been proven, VISIBLE BRANDS have a higher ROI than any other product or brand on the market.

Moreover, other news outlets, bloggers and even customers may link and share the media coverage. By sharing timely and relevant stories across earned, owned and shared channels you will keep your business high up in search engine rankings, therefore, it brings more customers knocking on your door.

POSITIONING:

PR also positions you as the expert and it’s much more effective than advertising.
Earned publicity – be it word-of-mouth, customer testimonials or editorial media coverage – merely is more trusted than advertising.
According to a Nielsen study, PR is 90% more effective than advertising in influencing consumers. That being said getting a favorable mention of your brand, which is earned holds much more weight than an ad.

Who are you more likely to believe, a salesman or a person just like you who bought a product? Who would you trust someone that says they’re great, or seeing that person in a high profile magazine showing how great they are from their advice in an article?

Because of social media, we’re exposed to so much marketing as well as advertising content. Because of that, people don’t trust brands as much anymore which is why influencer marketing and PR content provides an authentic touch to your business.

CREDIBILITY:

Mentions or advice article placements are a perfect way to showcase your knowledge next to other big names. Sharing a stage or platform with other well known, great speakers, coaches, podcast hosts, bloggers or experts creates instant credibility. Who would you trust?

Unlike traditional media, online media doesn’t have a shelf life. News articles remain visible on search engines indefinitely. This means any PR content you create can gain more value as it lives on.

Moreover, other news outlets, bloggers and even customers may link and share the media coverage. By sharing timely and relevant stories across earned, owned and shared channels you will keep your business high up in search engine rankings, which will, in turn, bring more customers knocking on your door.

It was an absolute honor & pleasure to be on the one and only Ashley Hann Show & Podcast! This episode was so special because we talked about family that oftentimes made us emotional, so you might tear up a little bit.

Also in this episode, we go over some topics like:
• Not letting your current circumstance or situation define or dictate you.
• How to rise above challenging situations.
• The power of forgiveness (especially when we don’t want to).
• Conscious parenting from the parents perspective AND the child’s perspective (so powerful!).
• Releasing attachment to external things.
• The power of NOW.

Take It From Ashley Hann

This is definitely my most unique podcast episode yet because on this episode, I have a successful fashion designer, artist, international speaker and author by the name of Hanalei Swan… and she’s 13 years old. YUP, 13 years old. She has more stamps in her passport than most adults and she gets flown all over the world to share her message and showcase her clothing collections that SHE DESIGNS.

Oh and it gets better… I also have her parents on the episode, Rhonda and Brian Swan! They are all three together known as the “unstoppable family” and they really are just that.Ashley Hann, Unstoppable Family

About Hanalei Swan

Ashley Hann, Hanalei SwanHanalei Swan started her conscious clothing company when she was just 8-years old. She has been traveling the world for the last 12 years of her life, since she was just one-year old. So far, she has travelled to over 48 countries!

For her, it all started when her mom asked her what she wants to be now (instead of what she wants to be when she grows up). Because of that, she realized the power of now and as she says “age has no boundaries”. A big takeaway from this podcast episode is that age doesn’t matter. It’s about living your life to the fullest. And Hanalei explains it so beautifully.

Slow Fashion

Above all, the intention of her conscious clothing company is to save the planet one piece of clothing at a time. She says that we must think for the earth before we think for ourselves. Hanalei also dropped some crazy stats off the top of her head during the episode such as:
• It takes 750 gallons of water to create a single cotton T-shirt.
• Only 1% of water on this earth is drinking water.

This amazing entrepreneur kid is on a mission to raise consciousness and awareness through her clothing line. Her brand only uses eco-friendly materials, such as bamboo. Hanalei is also very conscious about where she sources her materials and how they are sourced. She researches everything from top to bottom and make sure that the earth and everyone in it is being protected in each and every detail of the process.

Ashley Hann, Hanalei Swan

Hanalei is creating a movement and a ripple effect on this planet to raise consciousness through her clothing line. The only way we can overcome the darkness that exists on this planet is by shining light on it and that’s what Hanalei does. Her bravery and courage is incredibly inspiring.

Rising Above Circumstance

Sometimes life does not go according to plan. Occasionally, crappy stuff happens that we did not anticipate and all of the sudden, you’re in a situation that you never thought you’d be in.
This happened with Brian and Rhonda Swan. They share their story of when they hit their rock bottom and lost everything they had worked for just two weeks after Hanalei was born. Brian and Rhonda share everything they went through and their big turning point moment.
Rhonda realized that they must be bigger than their circumstances. As she so beautifully said, “we are not the circumstances we are standing in.” Since then, they’ve transformed their mess into their message.

Power of Forgivenesss

Rhonda and Brian Swan share a massive turning point they experienced shortly after Hannalei Swan was born. It was actually Deepak Chopra who gave them a pivotal piece of advice that led to a massive breakthrough for both of them.

“You have to forgive him. Forgiveness is power.” When we stay resentful and don’t forgive, we give our power away. It’s okay to feel pain initially, but it’s how you choose to respond to the painful situation that determines which direction your life will go.

Conscious Parenting

Rhonda and Brian Swan share a few of their own strategies on how they began conscious parenting with Hanalei. It is incredibly important to not just be aware of everything you say and do, but also realize how it can impact your child. Brian and Rhonda share the importance in creating a conscious environment and being very intentional about your communication as a parent.Ashley Hann, Unstoppable Family

• Support and gently guide your children vs making decisions for them.
• Ask your children questions vs telling them what to do.
• Don’t project your beliefs and preferences on your kids, let them decide for themselves by asking them questions.
• Let your children decide what they want to do and make sure they understand why they are choosing that.

From Hanalei’s View Point

Hanalei also shares her perspective on parenting from a child’s point of view. She talks about how important it is to be congruent about what’s really going on and what you tell your child. Also, she explains how children are like sponges and they will soak up everything that is around them, especially what is being demonstrated by their role models (aka parents). As a parent, you are teaching them by example what is acceptable and what is not.

Oh and don’t “should” on your children! Hanalei explains how many parents tell their children what they should do, where they should go, what they should eat, etc. Instead, give them the freedom to choose. This empowers them and sets them up to feel capable of making decisions on their own. Some quick tips from the wise Hanalei Swan:

The stories she shares as she traveled the world is so heart-warming. I had tears in my eyes when I re-listened to it. Ashley Hann.

WARNING: If family is important to you, you MAY tear up and maybe even cry during this episode. It is very touching.

Success in any aspect of your life is a result of planning out your goals and utilizing your creativity. The entrepreneurial life is a blessing and the perfect personal growth opportunity. It allows you the flexibility of working your professional life around your personal life. This is counter-cultural to the idea of having to work your personal life around your professional life. When you work for someone else, this is often the case.

Online Entrepreneurs Have Many Challenges

Operating and growing as a work-from-home entrepreneur takes some serious self-discipline. While any business run from home poses some challenges, there are unique challenges that face those that are running the bulk of their business online.

Taking business online is an easy concept for many people to get started with. But it’s not always seen as a regular and business you have to devote your time to. Many online entrepreneurs are trying to ‘fit in’ their online business in their already busy life. They’re not making a complete commitment to the business.

You Must Weigh the Challenges of The Online Entrepreneur Life

Although the ability to work from home provides a lot of benefits that affect much more than just your work life, the challenges that come up can make the idea of working from home an extremely difficult endeavor. Business needs to be taken seriously to succeed.

Even if you only have 10 hours a week to work your business, you need to be consistent. You must plan out your progress. Then, you have to stay focused and remember all the other parts of your life that need attention too!

Gaining the right kind of knowledge and putting it into practice will set you up for a happy and productive work life. When you do it right, it’ll wonderfully mesh with your personal life.

Read the following tips and advice that I’ve written here. Do it with a determined mind that will see each idea as an opportunity to try new activities. This will lead to opening the door to a clearer picture of how you can use your time wisely to run an online business from the comfort of your home.

Planning – 15 Tips to Organize Your Business

Being a productive entrepreneur takes a great deal of planning. But don’t let this discourage you, if planning and organization hasn’t been your strong point. Most of the planning gets done occasionally to whenever-you-deem-it-necessary. Once you learn some effective methods of planning, then it will become a natural task for the operation of your business.

The following tips will help in creating goals and implementing strategies to see them realized along with maintaining the motivation to keep yourself on track.

1. Set Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

Goal setting is effective in every area of your life. Giving yourself a clear picture of what you really want in life – in the immediate future and years down the road – is an excellent way to keep yourself motivated and energized to take action. Start the process by asking yourself:

“What do I really want to do with my life?”

Don’t allow limitations of time and money to distort your answer. Just assume that there is nothing that can stop you from eventually achieving and having what you truly want.

Write these goals down and keep them somewhere you regularly look. Put your goals into concise sentences using the “SMART” system as outlined below:

S= Specific- make your goals very specific. For example, “I want to save $3,000” or “I want to lose 25 pounds”.

M= Measurable- set up benchmarks for yourself so you know you’re on track.

A= Attainable- create goals that are achievable.

R= Realistic- be realistic about your goals and make sure you are willing to do what it takes to achieve them.

T= Timely/Time Bound- set up a realistic timeline to achieve your goals within.

2. Brainstorm Strategies to Achieve Your Goals

Once you’ve defined some short-term and long-term goals, you’ll want a list of possible strategies to achieve the results you’re looking for. Create a list of strategic options that encompass various alternatives you could use deliver the results you’re looking for.

Move beyond your comfort zone and think of any wild idea that comes to mind. You want a large list of ideas to work with. Keep this whole list to refer to in the future. However, you need to pick a few ideas from the list to schedule in and add to your “To Do” list now.

3. Strive for Greatness and Don’t Compromise

I’m sure you’ve heard of many stories about people achieving great success online. Perhaps you’ve even thought that they had something you didn’t or were in a better position to start with than you. Or maybe you even discredited the story as some marketing ploy and their ‘rags to riches’ story wasn’t true at all.

While there are a lot of schemers out there, there are also a lot of people that have genuinely focused on a goal and worked hard and smart to achieve it. You can do it too.

You can achieve whatever great things you put your mind to. When you’re adding value to other people’s lives, it’s just a matter of making a plan. You have to get organized and never give up until you can make your mark in whatever area is meant for you.

Don’t just settle for affiliate sales (although these sales are a nice bonus) and earning money from the success of others. That’s what being an employee is all about. If you’re interested in working online, then you have already made the decision to be your own boss.

Find your niche, explore the opportunities and don’t settle for a mediocre business that doesn’t have a soul. Don’t compromise on your opportunity for greatness!

4. Counteract Procrastination

Procrastination is one very bad habit. It affects most self-employed people from time-to-time due to the fact that there’s not always someone expecting you to produce something. It’s fueled by fear, lack of confidence, and disorganization. Putting things off is a sure way to produce an ineffective business. Beat procrastination by building up new habits that make you get tasks done, like scheduling in time to do the things you’ve put off.

Habit breaking and habit making can take about 21 days to take effect. So, keep this in mind as you’re struggling to stop your learned habit of procrastination. Also, remember that when you are creating a new habit of getting things done.

5. Grow From The Accountability Effect

Create accountability in your work life by joining or creating a group of like-minded entrepreneurs where you share plans, ideas, and goals. Aim to meet with them weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You can also gain this same effect with a one-on-one accountability relationship.

This type of setup creates an inner desire to report back the results of your objectives and gives you that little extra incentive to get your plan in action. Additional benefits of being accountable to others are:

  • Gaining inspiration from the insights of others.
  • Being in the position to assist others in their business focus.
  • Developing deep and trusting relationships.

6. Use The Power of Your Mind to Your Benefit

The human mind is an extremely powerful tool in your business. And we’re not talking about intellect. The sub-conscience mind is your motivator, your dreamer, and your source of productivity. It can also be your discouragement, your criticizer, and your source of inactivity.

Used properly, the power available in your mind will have an extraordinary effect on your life and your business. Keep your thoughts positive and keep them creative. Most importantly, keep away the damaging and defeating thoughts that are passed on by your environment!

7. Create Flexible Schedules and Adaptable to do Lists

Unless you’re the type of person that loves to stick to a specific routine and can adhere to a strict schedule, then you’ll really want to cut yourself a bit of slack. Be sure you create schedules and to do lists that allow for shifting of times and deferring tasks.

Working from home can involve work time getting delayed from the original plan and projects taking longer than anticipated. Just be aware of not letting work always get put on the back burner, which is very easy to do in a home office. Working from home does allow for a different approach to planning and scheduling.

When creating a schedule for a day, week, or month in advance (whatever is the best process for you) don’t schedule the whole day hour for hour. Here’s an example plan:

  • Monday morning- marketing tasks
  • Tuesday afternoon- website maintenance
  • Thursday evening- social media tasks

Whenever you have for time for business block it out for the morning, afternoon or evening instead of 9-11am.

8. Use Online Resources to Create a Schedule

It only seems appropriate that your online business should use online resources. This is effective since you can keep focused on what you need to do with a click into a browser. It takes less time than switching your focus to paper, another program, or another device.

This is also great for anybody that happens to use more than one computer or device for their work. You can quickly access your schedule, as long as you’ve got an internet connection, which is necessary for your business anyway.

Consider Using Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a great option for this. You can sync Google Calendar with an iPhone or Android device and set it up to notify you in different ways of upcoming entries in your schedule. Create a strict or casual schedule, whatever you feel is best for you.

If you tend to like the paper approach, you can print off your schedule as well. As with most Google products, it’s quite customizable to your preferences.

9. Use Online Resources to Create a To Do List

All the little jobs that you want to do or need to get done should be written down on a list. This list should be comprised of:

  • Thoughts and ideas that pop into your head
  • Tasks to do to move toward your goals
  • Regular tasks that you need to do in the operation of your business.

Using an online program for this has the same benefits as using an online calendar.

Consider Using Trello

Trello is a flexible and user-friendly option for organizing your ideas and projects in one area. You can create many boards and different organizations, which is very helpful when you want to start a new project in your business.

A board consists of a 3 column listing of “To Do”, “Doing”, and “Done”. You can change the names of these boards. Also, you can add in comments, checklists, due dates, files, and customize to your liking in several different ways.

You can also share a Board or Organization with other people, so you can collaborate with others on a project. This will help you see what’s been done, who has done it, and what needs to be done. It’s also beneficial to share your task list with some that can simply check up on your progress to add that bit of accountability motivation.

10. Make it Official and Make a Business Plan

Many home businesses never get the benefit of a well thought out approach to operations and expectations. Business plans are especially popular for those who are in search of financing. However, every person that would like to make money with their business should have spent the time creating some type of business plan.

You don’t need to focus on the financial details as much as a traditional plan would. But you want to create a plan of how your business will operate and what the products and/or services are. A business plan makes you think about various parts of running a business and clarifies its viability in the marketplace.

It may also force you to think of a more viable business venture if your original idea does not look as good written down as it did in your head. The Internet is full of great resources to assist you in creating an effective business plan.

11. See Each Day as a Fresh Start to Your Business

Don’t let any setbacks from yesterday or any point in the past allow you to judge your effectiveness for today. Only focus on what did work and what has been going well for you so far. Leave all the negative stuff behind you.

Each day will have a new plan of attack that you use to your advantage in building your business. Frustration and defeating thoughts are BIG productivity stealers and have no place in the growth of a business.

12. Create a Small Routine to Get You “In The Mood” to Work

If you were leaving home to go to work, you would have a transition period of getting ready for work at home. Then you would travel to a location and settle into your workspace.

When working within your home, you need to create some type of routine that becomes a sub-conscience signal for your brain to get focused on work. As an example, you might:

  • Prepare yourself a drink (coffee, tea, smoothie) and bring it into your work area.
  • Turn on some instrumental music.
  • Read a book on personal and/or professional development for 15 minutes.

13. Make a Today List

Similar to a To-Do List, a Today List is an informal, yet an intentional way of thinking about what you want to accomplish in your day. Get yourself a pad of sticky notes of whatever size you would like to be able to write down daily tasks. You may want to consult a ‘master’ To Do list or some type of schedule that you have created to be aware of what your overall tasks are.

Write down short, to the point notes of what you plan to accomplish in your day. Then stick this somewhere where you can easily glance at it throughout the day. You can add to this list as the day goes on as you might think of things you need to do. The most important part of this exercise is the conscience thinking about your day and writing down your intentions as you begin working.

This little list should get chucked at the end of the day. Don’t make any judgments on yourself about whether you did what you had planned to at the beginning of the day or not. Start a new list at the beginning of each new working day.

If there are tasks that you want to remember to do that didn’t get done from your Today List, then just transfer them to your schedule or business To Do List.

14. Do The Small But Essential Tasks First

Attending to email, making phone calls, or updating your social media accounts may be essentials that need daily attention. They are also things that can be distracting if you are returning to them throughout your working time.

So that is why it is effective to do these jobs to begin with and possibly to finish off with as well. You will likely have other responsibilities that fit into this category, depending on the type of business you run. Think of all those little things you do that take the focus away from other jobs.

15. Don’t Get Caught Up On Getting Everything Perfect

Many precious hours can be wasted on spending too much time perfecting something. Although you want to portray a certain level of professionalism, don’t be overly concerned with getting the perfect look, words or plan.

You can always add something on your To Do list if you’re not really satisfied with how it initially worked out. This allows you to at least complete the task at hand and move on to other productive tasks.

Effectiveness: 15 Tips to Getting Results

To be productive you must approach your business with a specific mindset that is relaxed, determined and open. It is most helpful to create processes and delegate when needed. Keep focused on the task at hand while avoiding distractions that take that focus away.

Use these following ideas to get the most out of your workday:

1. Keep Your Desktop Free of Clutter

At the end of office time for the day put everything in its place. This can be a combination of drawers, shelves, wall files, filing cabinets, and any other organizing elements you are utilizing. Clutter in your environment clutters your mind and can lead to inefficient practices from disorganization.

Keep this great little saying in mind: “Everything has its place and there’s a place for everything. If there’s not a place for it then you don’t need it!”

2. Create a Space to Put Papers That You Need to Deal With Eventually

Get a box, sized slightly larger than standard letter sized paper and 3-4 inches in height. Put it on your desk. Or use a set of stackable organizer inboxes or a multi-pocket/single pocket wall file. These are great for freeing up desktop space).

Unless you feel that you need the separation, don’t create one space for work and one for home. Consider this a one-stop drop for anything you can deal with later. Schedule a regular time that you attend to these papers. Don’t let it pile too high so that you feel daunted by the effort to go through it.

3. Create Systems For Your Business

The most efficiently run businesses are made up of a regulated and unique group of tasks that are created once and repeated again and again and again. If you’ve been in business for any length of time you probably have a few systems in place already, even if you don’t realize it.

Make the time to write down a step-by-step guide to the mechanics of your business. Write what you do in your home office that affects your business. This process will help you to define and organize the tasks you do (or should do) as an entrepreneur.  Also, it will allow you to have someone else keep your business running if you’re unavailable for various reasons.

4. Outsource Business Tasks

Hire out tasks that you don’t need to personally do, or don’t want to do. Every entrepreneur has “stuff” to do that isn’t part of their skill set and isn’t enjoyable to them. Generally, finances don’t allow them to pay others for essential business tasks, especially when starting up. Yet many people will find that as soon as they offload those unappealing chores, they become more efficient at other jobs. Ultimately this leads to their business really starts to flourish.

In our multi-communication society, outsourcing business projects is easier than ever and definitely has various benefits to hiring an employee. You can find freelance professionals that are eager to do any project you may have through a variety of avenues.

Consider posting a job on one of the many freelance bidding sites (Elance, oDesk, Freelancer, to name a few). You can search for a virtual assistant online or through your local resources. Or look for a friend or family member to complete some work. When you do this, you can put yourself in a position to achieve more with less time.

5. Only Pay Attention to Business During Your Business Hours

Pay attention to business tasks during your business time and do them only during business time. This may seem like it’s the opposite of being productive. After all, with our technology at the level that it is we can have the devices and access to our business 24/7. And why not attend to a few emails or phone calls if time permits during non-business hours?

Avoid doing this because those business matters won’t really have your full attention if you’re out shopping or visiting with friends. And secondly, just as you should give your business your full attention, you should also give the other areas of your life your full attention.

6. Be Devoted to Just One Project At a Time

Whether it be work or personal, remove all other programs and browsers that aren’t related to what you’re working on. Clear your desk/working space of anything that is not related to the task at hand.

7. Set Boundaries With Your Communication

Set boundaries of when you answer emails, telephone calls, and any other form of communication you may be connected to. Try to keep in mind that these various forms of communication are for your convenience and not for the convenience of others. You can’t be as focused and efficient when you’re letting distractions always take you away from the task at hand.

Schedule in a period of time once or twice a day to respond to and initiate conversations. This could be through email, texting, phone calls or any other form of communication with customers, business associates, and personal contacts.

8. Use the Pomodoro Technique

This technique was created in the 1980’s by Francesco Cirillo, which assists in achieving greater focus and better time management. It’s a fairly simple concept of breaking down your workday into blocks of 25 minutes. It builds on that main practice to teach more in-depth techniques of:

  • Blocking out distractions
  • Accurately estimating the length of time to do a task
  • Other organizational tips.

You may not want to be a true ‘Pomodoro’ follower. But reading the details about this technique will definitely provide you with some insightful ideas to better manage your home business.

9. Schedule Closed-Door And Quiet Periods of Time

While it can be good to be accessible to family members if needed, you may need to make at least a couple of ‘no interruptions’ times in your week. Some tasks just need your full uninterrupted attention. If you can do them without any chance of interruption, then you will be able to produce much better results.

Not everyone will need to use this tactic. If you find that you’re less productive due to minor interruptions then stand- up for yourself and your business. Make your family aware of the times you have set aside to complete your high concentration tasks. That may also mean a quieter time for everyone in the house.

10. Do Productivity Checks

This will be a great new habit to foster that will help to keep you focused and stopping lots of those time-wasting activities. Every hour or two check in with yourself asking “Is this the best use of my time?”

Set an alarm to go off, set up Google Calendar to send a notification to your desktop or simply stick a note on the wall in your direct sight with this question on it. Eventually, you will get in the habit of asking this question regularly without external prompts and not get into unproductive work, to begin with.

11. Don’t Get Lost in Multi-Tasking

Creating an environment that is extremely efficient involves a sustained time of focused work. It can be difficult to really get focused when, each day, you’re switching from one activity to another, just to get things done.

Being able to schedule your time so that you complete a months’ worth of blog posts in one day or set up some email broadcasts for the next two weeks allows your brain to really get into the one project and produce better work in less time than if you broke up the same kind of job over several days.

12. Always Generate a Growing Sense of Optimism

Expect that good things are going to be plentiful. Have the sense that life will bring good rather than bad outcomes and that when you encounter less than ideal situations you will be able to overcome it. Living your life with an optimistic mindset will allow you to see the possibilities and take advantage of opportunities that come out of hardship.

13. Create Your Business Around Your Passion

The most successful people have attested to the fact that their passion for their business drove them to be innovative, determined and keep focused on their tasks. Be sure that your business focus is somehow connected to something you’re passionate about and you’ll find that staying motivated and productive feels much easier.

14. Schedule Your More Challenging Work During Your Prime Time

Are you a morning person, or does your energy rev up after 6pm? Determine when you are at your peak performance and schedule the more difficult work or the stuff you are not so keen on doing, during these times. The routine tasks and more enjoyed activities can then be scheduled for the other times of the day.

15. Incorporate a Reward System For a Job Well Done

Although you’ve got “the big picture” incentive of having an awesome online business for long-term motivation, it’s useful to create some short- term incentives to help you get through a challenging undertaking or detailed project. Gear the incentive to your own preference of what you see as a reward.

Balance – 16 Tips to Energize Your Work Life

Use the following tips and advice to create a more well-rounded life. Working from home affords you the luxury of taking longer breaks, creating a unique home life and fulfilling your desires related to every part of your life while running a successful business.

Your life goal should be to have a prosperous life, and although this can mean financial prosperity, more importantly, points to prosperity in all areas of your life that will result in an increase in your enthusiasm for your business.

Strive for balance and creating harmony between work and life. The following tips focus on creating balance in your life that will directly influence your business.

1. Always be Learning and Growing

Always have a book on the go. Reading is a vital component to self- development, which you should be making time for on a regular basis. This is to enrich both your personal development and your professional development. Just making time to fit 15 minutes of reading in will benefit you greatly in all areas of your life, which will directly result in better results in your business.

2. Schedule Time For Your Business

Schedule your time for business matters and don’t let it impose on your personal time.

Don’t let all the “to dos” get in the way of your personal life. Working from home can end up with some people working all the time, which sort of defeats the purpose of being self-employed. Make that schedule for business tasks and work within that schedule.

There can be the occasional exceptions, of course. But when you find that you’re not sticking to the flexible schedule that you had created, you need to re-think your time. Or you need to be more disciplined in your approach to working time.

3. Don’t Aim to Please Everyone

Be clear on what your motives and intentions are and don’t let someone else’s opinion sway your informed decision. This relates to people in your personal life and in your business. Maybe you’ve got customers that want more time from you or quicker responses.

Or maybe your spouse feels your online pursuits are taking up too much time or doesn’t understand your passion. Don’t let the opinions of others change your business process when you know that’s what you want. Don’t be completely close-minded either. Hear people out and consider their opinion, then stand up for what you feel is right.

4. Share Your Work Schedule With Your Family

Posting a print out of your weekly schedule on the fridge, office door, or another visible area will let your family members know when you have planned to work. It can even help them know what kind of work you’ll be doing. This helps to avoid someone in your house planning something that requires or requests your involvement during your work hours. Also, it allows you to share a bit of your business life with your family.

5. Tell Your Family Your Business Highs and Lows

Discuss your business challenges and accomplishments with family and friends. Have one or two people that you can regularly talk to about what’s happening with your business. Especially when you’re first starting out, it can be discouraging to feel like you don’t have anyone to share the achievements and the frustrations with.

Even though you can connect with many other people online in the same situation as you (which you should do), it’s much more effective to get to vent and share with someone you already have an established relationship with.

6. Take Breaks in Your Workday

Take at least a 15-minute break every 2 hours of work. When you’re mainly focusing on your computer screen, you can get fatigued much more quickly than if you are moving around. After sitting at your computer for 2 hours, get up and get a drink.  Stretch, take a walk, or do anything that gets you on your feet and not staring at a screen. You’ll find yourself more focused and refreshed after a short break.

7. Get Outside of Your House For Breaks

Use the freedom of your work-from-home lifestyle to have breaks that take you outside your house. If you’re working a number of hours in your home business then take breaks where you can possibly do some personal errands or leave the house for an hour or two to take in some physical activity or meet up with someone.

Shifting your focus for a longer length of time and creating a day that is filled with a variety of activities provides a greater feeling of satisfaction with your day, as you’ve been able to give attention to several areas of your life.

8. Take a Reading Break

If you haven’t made the time in any other part of your day to devote to your personal growth through reading then take a reading break. Find yourself a comfortable spot to lounge in. Go outside if possible or just locate yourself in a different spot than where you were working. It’s good to get a change of scenery and fit in the always important element of learning.

9. Use Your Work Break to Give Attention to the Other Areas of Your Life

The most effective kind of break to take is a break that has you giving attention to some other areas of your life. Using your time wisely in this way will create a more productive life and not just center on a more productive work life.

As the points above described more specific things you can do with your essential break, it is important to keep in mind that making your work break a short and sweet time to see family or a lengthy outing to experience various other things is an integral aspect to creating a balanced life that will have a direct result on the productivity in your business.

10. Be Nutritionally Conscience

Eating right is essential on so many levels, but you will find you are so much more motivated and productive if you’re feeding your body the right kind of fuel. Get educated on what the best diet is for you. Eat a variety of foods that are providing your body with the appropriate nutrients that it needs to function at an optimum level.

Try to eat with the focus that food is for the proper functioning of your body and not just for your taste buds. Of course, moderation is the key and having little treats now and then is acceptable. But make the majority of meals and snacks about providing your body the right fuel.

11. Engage in Fun and Rejuvenating Physical Activities

Physical activity is a great energizer and provides your whole body with overall feeling of satisfaction. Although any type of exercise is beneficial, it is an added bonus when you can get some exercise while having fun and possibly spending some quality time with family or friends.

A few examples of this type of invigorating exercise is:

  • Biking
  • Brisk walking
  • Playing sports
  • Skipping
  • Jumping on a trampoline
  • Rock climbing

This is just to name a few of your options.

Even if you just take a regular trip to the gym and give your body a workout, you’ll reap the rewards of physical activity. The overall point here is that exercise can and should be integrated into your life and it doesn’t have to be some rigorous workout in the gym. There’s a whole world of possibilities.

12. Nourish Your Spiritual Side

You are a spiritual being that needs to regularly nourish that aspect of yourself. If you don’t feel drawn to an organized faith or religion, just be connected to the spiritual nourishment of nature. Realize that there is more to life than just what you see and think about and take time every day to become aware of your inner spirit through meditation, communing with nature, or learning about various spiritual aspects of humanity.

13. Make Time For Face-to-Face Socialization

Get connected face-to-face with people in all aspects of your life, whether they be family, friends, business associates or casual acquaintances. Try to make brief encounters and lengthy visits a chance to really connect with someone and not just a passing of time. You never know what may come of a conversation where you are truly in the moment and making the most of your time with someone.

14. Schedule in Time to Nurture The Most Important Relationships

Just being around your spouse or your children, or any other vital people in your life, isn’t going to be an effective way to value that relationship. You have to spend quality time with the people you love and this is easily left out if you’re not aware of the lack of connection you may have.

If you find you’re not connecting with those special people in your life on an intimate level then schedule in a weekly ‘date’ where you spend time with one another and get a chance to openly talk.

15. Be an Ongoing Source of Inspiration For Others

Being an encouragement to other people to have great aspirations, be persistent in achieving their goals and be open to new opportunities creates a greater sense of ownership in all you are planning to achieve in your business and personal life.

Keep the momentum by reaching out to other people that you know personally and that you connect with through online sources. When you are constantly inspiring others you will be building a habit of determination and success that will lead you to live your life to its fullest potential.

16. Live the Life of a Successful Online Entrepreneur

Surround yourself with empowering messages and people and avoid negative voices and mediocre minds. All the challenges that are faced by those working their business from home are eventually overcome by getting rid of those ineffective habits and renewing their life with a set of new productive habits that are the building blocks to a successful and well-balanced life.

Building an online business is an achievable feat for anyone – you don’t need to start off with special skills or have a lot of money in the bank and you don’t need to have everything figured out.

Learn as you go and be open to change, especially the change that needs to take place in your mind to think and execute plans like a determined entrepreneur.

Take risks and try new things that have the potential to get you in a position of growth and wisdom. Gain knowledge wherever and whenever you can to keep motivated and informed. Planning out various aspects of your business, being effective in your approach and having a life that is balanced in all areas will provide you a clear path to complete life of fulfillment.

Don’t count on the success of your business niche, count on the success of you. If you focus the right attention and determined attitude to keep at it and don’t get stuck in a rut or a process that doesn’t work, then you’ll always be able to roll with the punches and keep on keeping on.

I am so excited to announce our brand new addition to the Unstoppable brand! Our whole family teamed up together and created the “Unstoppable Family Podcast!” We are so thrilled to have another platform to connect with our readers and establish new relationships.

If you’ve been following Unstoppable Mama and my adventures for a while, you know that we’ve been traveling for over 10 years now. It’s been a while since I made the bold decision to leave my previous career. These several years have been exciting, scary, and worth every second. That’s one reason why we created the podcast. Our family wants to “keep it real” with our readers. Here’s a look at what you’ll hear on our podcast and how we’re using it to deepen our relationships with our readers and listeners.

Our Mission Behind the Podcast

We’ve been in people’s lives for many years through social media, the Unstoppable Mama blog, conferences, and more. We’re blessed to have created thousands of relationships over the years through these networks. Now we want to continue that relationship through the podcast.

In our podcast, you’ll get to know us and a bit of our personality. You’ll hear a combination of the 3 of us and learn about each our stories as well as our family’s story. If you don’t already know, we are a true entrepreneurial family. We excited to share our journey with you on how we got there.

Raising Unstoppable Children

I believe that supporting our children’s dreams is essential to parenting well. If your child has a dream, I encourage you to do everything you can to support their passions and help them reach their goals. In our podcast, we talk about who we are and openly share our passions with our audience.

Hanalei, was a year old, we began traveling with her and exposing her to the world of opportunities. Now at age 11, she owns her fashion business and manages several employees of her own! How did that happen? She is excited to share her perspective of her unstoppable life on the podcast and her passions behind her business.

Brian, and I will talk about our parenting decisions and how we’re raising an unstoppable child. We hope to give you inspiration through our daily lives and how we make it all come together.

Taking the Plunge

Many of my readers have asked how I made the decision to leave my career in corporate America when I was pregnant with Hanalei. This was not an easy decision. I look forward to sharing my story with you and how I dealt with negative feedback on my decision ( I still deal with that). I’m excited to say that I never looked back! I chose to be unstoppable and now my family is too.  I hope my story inspires others to take the plunge they’ve always wanted to take.

I believe there are people that dream and people that go out and make those dreams a reality. You create a reality through the thoughts you have and negative thoughts have no place in making your dreams a reality. We turn down things that don’t support our values because we know strong values are the foundation of everything. You’ll hear all about our different perspectives on how said “NO” to things that didn’t support our values.

I believe we all have so much more power inside of us than we know or want to believe and in order for our kids to do great things, we need to be the example. We all need to wake up to the reality that our kids have a voice and that we need to listen to what they have to say.

Over 36 days, I had the honor to experience my 11-year-old daughter speak at 4 different events across the USA, sharing her voice. She challenged them to face their fears, question their beliefs and takes a stand for their values. Here’s a look at our amazing tour.

Speaking at AWOL Elite Summit Vegas

Words don’t express the gratitude we have for our five days in Las Vegas for Keala Kanae, Rachel Campbell, Todd Campbell, and the AWOL community. I have to tell you I certainly didn’t expect the open arms and support that we received while being there.

Myself and Hanalei were invited to speak to their community and share our best stuff. I spoke on branding and my 21-day plan. Hanalei shocked the crowd with her passion and knowledge for fashion and entrepreneurialism.

Hustle & Grind Con in Orlando

Hanalei spoke with Eric Thomas at the Hustle & Grind Con. She inspired us all. Her father and I didn’t ask her what she wanted to be when she grows up. We asked her, “What do you want to be now?”

She’s 11 years old but she’s grown up with a mission, a vision and a passion to change the way people think about the possibility and to start living their dreams NOW! She inspired thousands of people to look in the mirror and asked them these questions:

  • Do you love what you see and what you’re doing right now in your life?
  • Is who you are being for yourselves, your family and to the world something you can be proud of?

It was humbling. Each day I look at myself and ask, “Are you being the best person you can be today for yourself, family and the world”? And then…I get to it. Take one step today…and look at yourself in the mirror and get real with yourself…the world is waiting for you to shine your light.

Hanalei Sold Pieces From Her New Collection

Not only that, she had the chance to set up her clothing line at the event and sell a few pieces. I’m just in awe that she’s so dedicated to her brand.

Hanalei absolutely crushed it and was able to bring some of her new collection pieces to the event and have a pop-up store, she made almost $3000 in sales after just a 45-minute talk. We brought some of her limited edition collections back to the USA. You can take a look at what she’s got on her new store.

Arriving the Day My Niece Was Born

We flew back to Michigan just in time to meet my niece (Hanalei’s cousin) Livia Rose. She’s a beautiful 5lb 11oz. Momma Stacy Brooks and my baby bro Joseph Brooks are doing well. Big sister, Lucy, has approved for her to come home.

Inducted to the Athletic Hall Of Fame

Hanalei and I stayed in the Northwood University Alumni hotel (NADA) with my Mom. I was so excited to be inducted into the athletic hall of fame. Apparently, I’m still holding strong with the highest stolen base record and batting average of all time in university history and nationally.

What I learned playing softball has become everything I do in my life.

Choose one thing to be great at, and the rest will follow. I wanted to be the leading base stealer, but I had to get on base to do it. So then, of course I had to have the highest batting average. And I did. It’s a Ripple Effect. Pick your ripple.

Hanalei Delivering Custom Design in NYC

A year and a half ago she reached out to Kyle Farmery and stayed connected. She created a custom design for him and hand delivered it to him in New York City! I was more nervous than she was.

This little lady gives me purpose and drives every day to be better than yesterday, and to treat others with kindness and compassion. I will be forever grateful for the choice I made to leave my corporate position 13 years ago to learn how to leverage the internet as my means of income.

Life is full of blessings. Our family is rich in love, experiences, and happiness because of our choices and decision to be the primary influence in her life. Thank you, Hanalei for choosing me to be your Momma. I love you.

Let’s Commit to Raising Unstoppable Kids

We [Parents] are the ultimate role models for our children. Every word, movement, have action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than their parents. Teach your children that their voice matters and that they can change the world with their voice.

Hanalei continues to blow me away. Not just because she’s my daughter, but because she is simply amazing. We had no idea the decisions she would make when we asked her, “What do you want to be now?”. We’ve given her the space to create and develop her passions.

Hanalei’s Launched Her Fashion Line

This past year, Hanalei launched her fashion line. She’s been a true inspiration to me and others around her.  She has accomplished so much already and does it with grace and joy. Brian and I want to help her succeed in life and are supportive of the things that she has pursued.

Hanalei has always had an interest in clothes, art, and design. She combined her interests and utilized her strengths to create a fantastic clothing line for women and children. She uses natural products and makes beautiful pieces that have sold well!

Hanalei has found events to attend and sold her custom pieces in Bali too. We are thrilled that she is working to grow her clothesline and stay open to a variety of places to sell in the marketplace.

Want to check out her store? You can see her designs here and send her a message if you see something you love.

A Lesson Learned

Recently, Hanalei was interviewed on Confessions of a Business Owner by Charley Valher and shared her biggest sin in the biz so far. When asked what she considered her biggest confession, she explained a story of where she learned that sales do not equal your profit.

After a great clothing event, she made $1600. Brian and I had to explain that part of that would need to pay for salaries and the fabric that it took to make the clothing. Hanalei learned a valuable lesson that day and realized that there is more to the bottom line than just sales.

Giving Back to Others

Hanalei has learned much about business in the last couple of years. However, she has taken it a step further and embraced giving back to others too. For every 8 items of clothing she sells, she will give $152 to needy children around the world. So much of the world lives in poverty, and she wants her brand to be a part of changing that.

Our Biggest Passion For Hanalei

Brian and I want her to see the value and opportunity of the freedom-preneur life. We want her to have endless possibilities in life! Working hard, creating a business, and learning so much at a young age enables her to head down this path from the beginning rather than getting stuck in a 9-5 job one day that she wants to escape.

We enjoy the freedom to travel and spend time together as a family. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

As freedom-preneurs, we are determined to pass this on to her so that she can advance in life with the flexibility and freedom that we enjoy too.

Hanalei is an exception to other kids her age that spend hours a day playing video games or watching TV. We want her to see that she can do so much more and starting today is a great way to build a future she will love. She is unstoppable and others can be too!

Want to get started on your life changing brand like Hanalei? Sign up for my 12-week done with you course. I’ll give you the step by step instructions you need to build your sexy brand.

Hello tribe,

So here we are.

Fresh and back in Bali after a couple of intense weeks in the United States, and decided that would be a good idea to share all the highlights of our trip to mama USA as we have so much to be grateful for. In fact, there was so much going on that we might need to write another couple of blogs to continue this adventure.

First I would like to thank all of you that joined us at the Orlando Mansion for the UNSTOPPABLE MASTERMIND “Secrets of the Experts” Event.

The Unstoppable Family

The whole mastermind was a reunion of old friends and the creation of new relationships. It is always so extraordinary to see some faces that keep coming to our events for almost 10 years now. It’s humble for us to have such a tight and strong tribe that stay committed to the message –  and that has been one of our biggest achievement within the business.

Also thanks to the new member! To have this tribe growing with all the new people is what makes the message solid. So thank you all.

Apart from networking, JV relationship building, and inspiring conversations, as per Unstoppable style, a lot of mayhem was created – pool parties are always a must and so are the opening night with our traditional Italian welcoming dinner, where everyone is encouraged to get in the kitchen and show off their cooking skills.

But during the dinner, as proud parents, we do have to agree that the highlight was seeing our daughter Hanalei opening the dinner by sharing passionately her vision to our tribe.

She explained her inspiration behind the Unstoppable Kids program and why is so empowering to be asked “What do you want to be now?! – instead of when you grow up.

As parents, we were beaming – after all, we are experiencing the result of all the hard work we put on raising her. We have always believed one of the most important opportunities we could give our child, was allowing her to be herself and let her follow her dreams, so we have always asked her what she wanted to be NOW rather than what she wanted to be in the future.

So we are very humbled about all the people that have found inspiration on liberating their children and let them following her passions – so a thank you to all of those approaching us on the subject.

But Hanalei shining moment did not end here, in fact she had a monumental evening as she featured her clothing line for the 1st time in the USA and within a couple of hours, she sold half of her inventory of limited edition robes and dresses and took custom orders for her “Ready to Wear” runway collection that is coming next month.

To top all that, she did her first online Sale. What a great turnout. She was particularly excited about that.

In Hanaleis own words:

I am so excited as I have made my first online sale. I have sold a lot of my designs, in fact I even have sold out the first time I introduce my creations, but as a young millennial I want to focus on my online store as that way I can reach so many more of you, so it was pretty exciting, after all the hard work we had to create a good online platform to show my collection and I am super happy and can’t wait to have a busy store. You can help me by visiting my story and buy something if you would like =)  https://fashion.hanaleiswan.com/collections

On top of my first online sale, I also sold most of my items here in Orlando since as promised, I brought with me a limited inventory of my Unstoppable collection and got a lot of orders for my “Women ready to Wear” collection, so it has been an unstoppable week for my fashion business.

We are so proud of her and of how she is achieving her dreams at only 10 years old.

Moving on to the Funnel Hacking Live 2018, which was one of the main reasons we went to Orlando, what an incredible event. We have been to hundreds of events and I can say this was special.

Meeting all the wonderful professionals and dreamers at the 2 Comma Club was incredible and we were extremely honored to receive the 2 Comma Club Award at FHL2018.

What an accolade and what a privilege to win it with other incredible entrepreneurs and inspiring speakers.

And talking about inspiring speakers, one of Hanalei’s highlights was actually getting the chance to meet and chat with Alex Charfen. He gave her some profound advice about being a young entrepreneur and she was impressed how he treated her as an equal rather than just a kid. On top of that, he shared a story of when he met Dr. Wayne W. Dyer which is Hanalei’s hero.

But after a few days, the event came to an end – but forever in our memories with all the great connections we solidified and the news we created. Hope to see you all at the next event.

Much love from Bali,

The Unstoppable Family

We have been on the road like we are known to do. It’s been a power-packed trip full of opportunities and monumental events. For one thing, I saw my book Skills Are Cheap, Passion is Priceless in the store.

I’m so passionate about the message in this book, that I’m giving it away!

We Started At The Funnel Hacker Live 2018 Event

We couldn’t possibly miss the Funnel Hacker Live event this year? Why you ask. Because we joined the 2 Comma Club! We worked our asses off this year bringing the best value to our clients and it paid off. We walked across the stage as the Unstoppable Family to be greeted by Russel Brunson.

https://www.facebook.com/leticia.campbell1/videos/10214497648588056/

This was a dream come true for us. Sure, it represents us reaching many of our business goals, but ultimately, this award represents us helping so many build their brands. We couldn’t get to this point without those that have joined the Freedom-preneur movement.

When you have an online business, then you give yourself flexibility and freedom to be able to live life to the fullest while providing for your family at the same time. It was not even a question that we could make this trip as a family. We even brought Dennis, a filmmaker from Ukraine, along with us to capture everything on video.

Unstoppable Tribe Meets Up

We invited our tribe to meet us at the event and rented a 13 room mansion for our event. We had the chance to do some branding videos and masterminding. It’s always amazing to get around other Freedom-preneurs.

Not only did we have a fabulous time in the kitchen together, we hosted the rockinest pool party ever.
https://www.facebook.com/rhondarswan/videos/10155315880376297/

More than 30 people showed up to swim and rub elbows. We rented a 35 passenger bus and went to dinner afterwards.

Off to Universal Studios

After we wrapped up the event, it was time do hang out as a family. We were so happy to have Hanalei on this trip with us.

At the young age of 10 years old, she is trying new things and even embracing her own business opportunities. At Universal Studios, Hanalei faced her fear of roller coasters and went for it! Talk about an unstoppable young lady.

When we were in Florida Hanalei paid her own way into Universal Studios. I asked her how she felt about that and she said that it was amazing to be able to pay for something that cost $350. She said that she realized that her parents would take care of her needs, but that she felt empowered to be able to make money. Hanalei commented that she felt like she could “live forever” with the abilities that she was learning.

Family Time With The Parents

While on this road trip, we went to Florida to see Brian’s parents because his mom was having some health issues. We loved the flexibility to incorporate some family time into our busy work schedule. How awesome to be able to work and play unstoppable!

Off to New York

Hanalei has wanted to go to New York City her whole life. Our trip was cut a little short, but we made it in there for the day. Here’s a look at Time Square.

https://www.facebook.com/unstoppablefamily/videos/10155590401763693/

Our trip consisted of stops in Pennsylvania, NYC, and more. We took in the sites of Central Park and Time Square along with attending a fashion show where Hanalei met with industry greats about her clothing line. Fun, work, play, and all while on this outstanding road trip.

While we traveled, we had the chance to meet with so many potential clients and learn about lots of different brands. Hanalei and I were able to handle some speaking engagements along the way and worked to showcase our businesses even more.

We Attended The Man Enough Movement

Hanalei’s  11th birthday is coming up and so we will take some time out and be in Australia on an island that we all love so much. The beauty of our road trip and other travels is that it can all be done alongside a dynamic work schedule.

While we were there, we attended the Man Enough Gala. It was a celebration of men and women to know that they are man enough and good enough and are worthy. Happiness Co and founder Julian Pace have created a movement of happiness and shedding joy around the world to allow others to love and appreciate themselves.

Julian‘s father committed suicide on his 18th birthday so it would be fitting that the opening gala is on this special monumental night. He went from anger to making a change in the world.

Hanalei worked hard on her gala dress and had it put together specifically for this event. She looked so beautiful and represented everything the happiness movement is all about.

London is In Our Future

Our travels will pick back up in May when we head to London for the Frontline Marketer Live Event. It is put on by my dear friend, Jon Pemberthy. Both Hanalei and I have the chance to speak at this event while we are there.

Want to join us there? I’m hosting a branding makeover VIP day. I’d love to help you develop your brand and give you the help you need.

Many parents ask their kids this question “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. This is the question every generation asks for the future generation. We wanted to take a different route with Hanalei. Ever since he was young, we asked her a different question- “What do you want to be right now?”.

When you ask your kids what they want to be right now, you are allowing their creativity to grow. This has been our parenting philosophy- validate her voice and positive reinforcement.

One of our biggest reasons for traveling has been to let her experience all that life has to offer. This life has fed her creativity in a way that would have never happened if I hadn’t left my corporate job.

Why You Should Validate Your Child’s Voice

Maybe you grew up feeling that your parents didn’t listen to you. Maybe you felt that your voice didn’t matter as a kid. We decided to take a different approach with Hanalei. From the time she was very little, we chose to validate her voice.

By asking her what she wanted to be now, rather than when she grew up, we were telling her that her voice matters. When you give your children that kind of freedom, you will be amazed at what they may say.

We taught Hanalei that if she takes action on her dreams now, they can become a reality. Not only did we let her express herself, we gave her the tools to act on her desires.

How To Use The Laws of Attraction in Parenting

The other thing we did for Hanalei was to parent her with positive reinforcements. We believe in the laws of attraction. When you are positive, you will attract positive outcomes in your life.

Instead of telling Hanalei what not to do, we told her what to do. For example, instead of saying, “Don’t jump in the hole” we would say, “Walk around the hole”.

Since she grew up this way, she has been allowed to follow her dreams. She’s become an inspiration to other kids. She’s an international speaker, fashion designer, and child prodigy.

Hanalei is Speaking in 3 Continents in 4 Months

Her message is one that audiences of all ages can resonate with. That’s why she’s been invited to speak in 3 different countries over the next few months. Here are the places she’ll be speaking:

Orlando, Florida- We are headed to Funnel Hacking Live in March and it’s going to be incredible. While we are there, Hanalei will be speaking at an event nearby.

Australia- We are headed to Australia where she is going to be speaking at an event put on by the Perth Happiness Co.

London- Jon Pemberthy is hosting his Front Line Marketer event and Hanalei will speak at the conference.

Asia- she’ll be speaking at Calvin Coils young and wildly successful self-mastery. He’s her life coach and speaking coach.

Her Main Mission

Hanelie’s main mission is to inspire other kids to be who they want to be right now. She has had the freedom to pursue her passions and turn her dreams into a reality at 10. Because of her experiences and opportunities, she wants to be that inspiration to others.

I’m so proud of her for taking on that mindset and using her talents to help other kids realize that they don’t have to wait until they are older to accomplish things. They can decide what they want to be today. That’s the heartbeat behind the Unstoppable Kids movement. We want to bring kids and parents together and inspire them all to take action.

Hanalei’s Fashion Line Has Been Released

Ever since I can remember, Hanalei has been doodling in her notebook. She’s always had the gift of artistry. A few years ago, she started designing clothes. Her mentor Karen Keith immediately saw the raw talent that she possed and decided to come alongside her in navigating the industry.

It’s been an incredible year watching Hanalei turn her sketches into a beautiful line of clothing and shoes. This girl hasn’t stopped! I’ve been so proud of her going after her dreams and putting in the hard work.

Just last month, she opened a shop here in Bali and people came out to see her fashion line. It was one of the most amazing days of my life watching my strong girl share her creativity with the world.

Here is what Hanalei shared on her Facebook page the day she opened shop-

This was so far one of the greatest days of my life. It was the first time I was able to share my designs with REAL people!

I was really nervous that they wouldn’t like my stuff, so I had to take a deep breath before I went in front of everyone, and then I asked them to come outside to see my designs.

Everyone came out, and you know what?

They loved it.

I cannot believe this is all happening, but my Mom keeps telling me to have fun and just share what I love from my heart, so that is what I want to do.

As a fashion designer, it is her goal is to inspire people to feel beautiful in their skin. She believes that the right outfit can make someone feel confident. That is why she works hard to make sure everything about her designes are right.

This Is How We Raise Unstoppable Kids

Hanalei is an ambassador for the Unstoppable Kids program. She inspires other kids to decide what they want to do today. As parents, we want to help other parents by giving their kids a place they can explore their talents and take action.

At our last Unstoppable Kids event, she spoke to the children that attended. It was such an honor to have kids from Jodie Oshea Orphanage.

They came to the event and painted with us. As a parting gift, we gave them a DSL camera so that they could go back home and create together. They also took back their paintings as a reminder of the hopeful message they heard.

Keep up with Hanalei’s progress on her website. She’s got many great things to come.
