Leaving Bocas for the USA!

After spending the last 14+ months living in Central and South America, we’re heading to the USA for the summer! We had our ‘Going Away Party” this Saturday, rocking out on the Baro Loco with bands, beer and floats! ‘Welcome’ & ‘Going Away’ Parties…2 fun reasons to travel!

We have been sorting, packing, and putting our stuff in piles to give away before we leave Bocas- cleansing and the lesson of detachment rolled into one. It also gives me a great excuse to go shopping in Panama City and Vegas!

On Thursday we leave Bocas del Toro for Panama City, before heading to Disney World for Hanalei’s birthday! We don’t know which we should be more scared of,  Sponge Bob Square Pants Resort or Las Vegas!

After that we’ll be speaking at the No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas!

After 5 days in Las Vegas we’re going to Disney before heading to PCB and New Orleans!
We’ve had many highlights here in Bocas- seeing in the New Year with fireworks, spending Valentines Day at Carnival, partying at the Stone Soup Festival…It’s bittersweet for us leaving Bocas and the wonderful friends we’ve made but we’re excited for the next chapter!
