Unstoppable Success Tip of the Day: Are Your Words Like Dirty Socks?

In 4 Hour Work week, Home Business Tips

Today as I was driving to pick up Hanalei from school, I decided to shoot an Unstoppable Success Tip of the Day:  Being on Time.

In life, business or parenting being on time can determine how people trust you and can be the determining factor for your success.

Don't throw your words out like dirty socks...

The word integrity is thrown out these days like yesterday’s socks.  I hear so many people say they will be there at a certain time or they will do this or do that, without really meaning what they say or even having the intentions of living up to their word.
Being a parent it can be tempting to “Tell” your kids what they want to hear, and break the promise because it doesn’t fit into your schedule, or to tell a customer that you will get back to them on some information they requested and just forget about it and wait until they ask again.

See these little promises we make to people may not seem like a big deal…but they ARE the biggest determining factor for success in all area’s of life.

Watch my video and let me know what your thoughts are by leaving a comment below….

Oh and don’t worry…I kept my eyes on the road and got to school on time!

Be Unstoppable Today with your word.

Rhonda

Hi Rhonda- awesome video and great message. Integrity for your word by remaining and maintaining consistency is a virtue we all need to pay attention too. And am a stickler for time and being respectful and thankful for it also. Thanks again Rhonda

It truly is Tom. Being an athlete I have always valued being on time..(especially because we had to run laps if we were ever late) But having integrity for your word and actions has been my best advice for running a successful “Life” all around.

I have always had an issue with not being on time! That is one of the reasons why I work from my laptop. I have tried everything…setting my clock ten minutes ahead…then I always make the conversion anyway…lol. I have even tried giving myself 30 minutes more to be ready to go but I screw myself up. I think I need to blog about this. LOL

Best part about it…is you can actually start being on time if you really want too…make it a priority, don’t trick yourself, be totally honest with yourself and just do it…that is, if you want to be known for being on time and reliable;)

    Rhonda,
I enjoy every post, keep on keeping on 🙂
By the way, today you sounded like you were talking from the pages of
(The 4 Agreements) I kept that book by my bed for the last 15 years and
have probably bought 50 over the years to give away to friends and family.
Thanks again for your daily inspirations – Danny

Great post! You are truly always there and I am so grateful to have you as a mentor! I know that feeling when I meet Winston at the bus stop he jumps into my arms and if I wasn’t there I know how disappointed he would be. Great advice in everything we do!
