Letting Your Dream Manifest
That is what has been going on for Brian and I. We have had a small thought in our minds that has started to unfold over the last few days.
You can listen to me talk about our hopes and dreams in this video.
As you can see, we have been wrestling around with the idea of purchasing a home that we can come back to. We have been unstoppable in our traveling for the last six years. While I don’t think that we are ready to settle down just yet, we want to make decision for that day when it comes.
Being a Freedom-Preneur Makes it Easier to Let Ideas Flow
One of the most amazing things about being a Freedom-preneur, is that we have the opportunity to allow our ideas to truly manifest. We are not bound by our obligations to a job.
If Brian wants to support his friend’s music in the middle of a workweek by taking 1 hour flight, he can. He doesn’t have to clock in with a boss and neither do I. Business gets done while we are out.
When you have the kind of freedom to have an idea, and then pursue it, you are in an amazing place. What it does is sets you up for even greater ideas. Often, if you feel bound by circumstance, you won’t even let your mind run away with you.
However, if you are used to being able to have an idea and see it through it will give you permission to have bigger ideas. You are training your brain to think, “This is possible” which is a positive thought.
Do you have those thoughts? Or do you think, “There is no way I can do this“? This type of thinking keeps you from ever allowing your ideas to manifest.
What Squelches Your Ideas
When you have allowed yourself to be forced into a mold, you don’t have much choice but to make certain decisions.
We think we have the freedom to choose what we do with our lives. Sure, we all have a choice, but sometimes, we make choices that take away our ability to make other choices down the road.
All of life is trade offs. Every decision you make means that you are deciding not to do other things. When I was pursuing the corporate world, whether I wanted to admit it or not, I was choosing not to pursue other dreams. It wasn’t until I woke up and saw the path I was on, that I realized that I had to make different decisions.
Give Yourself Permission to Dream
We all have to give ourselves permission to dream. There is no way that we can allow an idea to develop unless we have the idea to begin with.
I challenge you today to let an idea come into your mind. Give it permission to grow and develop inside of you. Let it sit there and get big.
Once your idea has grown, you can start seeking out how to make it happen. Don’t rush making a decision though. Take the time you need to search out what is perfect for you. If you’re a Freedom-preneur, then you don’t have a hardcore deadline.
Brian and I have been following the dream of finding a home, and now we have a solution. We have just given ourselves permission to dream, pursue, and wait for the right thing to come to us.
