Fiji is on our Hot List for living less at a Resort than you can at home.

The Rydges Hideway Resort on the coral Coast of Fiji (Hideaway Resort), is nothing less than spectacular. The US dollar is 2 to 1 at the moment, with Australia at a close 2nd making these very spacious Bure’s for under $80 a night ($155 fijian) They offer a free fully dressed breakfast buffet, complementary Kids Club and the kids also eat for free!!
I have has a massage every week in their beautiful ocean front spa for under $35 US an hour.
The staff here is truly the happiest people on earth, and extremely accomodating. I have my laundry washed and dried weekly for $14 fijian ( $7US)
Every night there is entertainment and a movie to watch in the cinema.

We have been spending $2200 fijian a week, for all food, boarding, child care, drinks, entertainment and transfers back and forth to town.

So that is $1100 a week, $4400 a month to be fully pampered, oh and did I mention it is right in front of one of the best beaches for surfing, scuba diving and snorkeling in the South Pacific?

My recommendation is to not pay the 5 star prices for the OutRigger, but to come 10 minutes down the road and pay half the price, and get a way more than you expect.
